Hey Everyone,
Well, I've put The Netherworlds on hold for a while to write my new story Tell City. I know some people are annoyed by this, but I have two chapters of it so far and am working on the third. It's flowing easier with the way I am writing right now. I think I will save writing The Netherworlds until my writing style is more mature in its development. And, on the plus side, I feel like I can actually finish Tell City decently soon at the rate I am writing it. I have a goal for it to be mostly wrapped up by the end of the year. We'll see. Pray for the best.
I'm trying to set one day a week for writing. Wednesday seems to be my day (In my head I'm making jokes about Neil G.'s character, Wednesday (aka Odin) from American Gods (my favorite book). So if anyone else gets that joke I'll give you a llama...
Anyway.
I won a daily lit deviation for a short piece of prose I wrote a few years ago. Suicide Rout. Made my day. And it was featured for the week in Get Watchers. Yay awesome!
I'm trying out putting my work on writerscafe.org. It's working out well so far and its set up reminds me very much of deviant art, so it is familiar enough to navigate, and it is solely for writing, which I like.
I get distracted very easily by the pretty pictures and paintings on this here website.
I've been toying around with the idea of forming an actual blog or linkedin or something to get my work further out there, but I'm not too sure where to start or how to start. I have enough passwords to remember already, and technology can often times be my arch enemy. So if y'all have advice I'm open to it.
Also, if you haven't had a chance to check out the first two chapters of Tell City please do. I'm curious for some critiques on the structure of the story. And if there is something you would like critiqued right back shoot me a message and I will be more than glad to return the favor.
